Clifton town is less developed than other areas in Fairfax County. This incorporated town in southwest Fairfax County, Virginia, had a population of 282 as of the 2010 census. Prior to the construction of the Northern and Monticello freeways, this area had a population of 185. Many roads run through this neighborhood such as Newman Road, Colchester Road, Lee Highway and Chapel Road. There is one school in the town, but many residents commute to work in nearby areas.
