Friday, September 30, 2022

Located at William Centre Blvd, Manassas, VA 20109, the Brownsville Picnic Area is a great place to hold a family picnic. The picnic area offers a covered pavilion with a limited number of grills. There are also restroom facilities. The picnic area has ample parking and is open for first-come, first-served picnics. However, please be considerate of other park visitors and clean up after yourself after every use.

The Brownsville Picnic Area is a great place to bring children because they can explore the TRACK Trail, a 0.4 mile loop trail that includes an open field, a wetland, and woodland habitat. It also features views of the nearby Young's Branch. The trail is an educational experience and a great way to learn more about the wildlife and plants in the area.

The City of Brownsville operates its parks under the Code of Ordinances Chapter 74. The parks are open to the public during the week from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on weekends from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
